Epoxy resins
EPOXY RESIN FOR FLOORS
A medium viscosity modified epoxy resin composition. Used as a two-component system (Component No.1 – resin composition, Component No.2 – hardener) designed for creating and casting various floor coatings such as concrete floors, self-levelling concrete floors and other mineral surfaces. Can be applied over epoxy primer (with or without chips, sand, etc.) or over polyaspartic primer. Can be tinted, including for artistic effects. Also suitable for repairing various mineral surfaces, including concrete and cement-based substrates. Intended for indoor and outdoor use.
Properties: Transparent. Good adhesion to various surfaces. Contains no organic solvents. No characteristic odor. Short curing time. High mechanical strength – hardness 90D. Resistant to chemical agents. Suitable for artistic floor designs.
Application: Surfaces must be clean, solid and slightly rough. Surface moisture must not exceed 45%; at higher moisture levels the material may change color and adhesion will decrease. Apply on concrete no earlier than 28 days after pouring. Components No.1 and No.2 must be thoroughly mixed in the correct weight ratio of 3:1. The weight of one batch should not exceed 10 kg. Recommended coating thickness is 1–3 mm, maximum 10 mm. Optimal application temperature is +15 to +25°C; at higher temperatures curing time will decrease. Before application, the surface should be primed with STAFOR epoxy primer. Tools and equipment must be cleaned immediately after use with an acetone-based solvent.
Drying time: Initial tack 30–40 minutes at +20–25°C. Curing time approximately 24–48 hours. Full cure after 7 days.
Storage: Store in original packaging at +5°C to +25°C. Shelf life is indicated on the packaging.

Additional labeling: EUH205 Contains epoxy constituents. May produce an allergic reaction.
HARDENER FOR EPOXY FLOOR RESINS
A clear, low-viscosity liquid. Intended for use as a hardener with STAFOR epoxy floor resins (Component No.2).
Mixing ratio (by weight):
- STAFOR epoxy floor resin (Component No.1): 1.
- Hardener for epoxy floor resin (Component No.2): 1.
Use: Both components must be mixed thoroughly; it is recommended to pour the mixture into another container and mix again. Pot life: 30–40 minutes at +25°C. Detailed application instructions are available at [www.stafor.lv](http://www.stafor.lv).
Limitations: Recommended mixture and ambient temperature +15 to +20°C. Maximum mixture and ambient temperature +25°C.
Tools: All tools and equipment must be cleaned immediately after use with acetone.
Safety: Wash hands and skin with warm water and soap. Protective goggles, gloves and a respirator must be worn during work.
Hazard classification: Acute Tox. 4; Skin Irrit. 2; Eye Dam. 1. Signal word: Danger. Contains amines. Hazard statements: H302 Harmful if swallowed. H315 Causes skin irritation. H318 Causes serious eye damage. Precautionary statements: P264 Wash hands thoroughly after handling. P280 Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. P302+P352 IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water. P305+P351+P338 IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. P501 Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations. Additional labeling: P102 Keep out of reach of children.
